Regardless of how unbelievably amazing freshly whipped cream may taste, leftovers in your iSi Whipper can’t always be avoided. That's why we’ve decided to clear up the most common questions: How long does the cream inside your whipper keep? Can you still use it a couple of days later? And do you need to shake your whipper again before using it?
In general, cream will keep very well once inside the whipper, as the air-tight closing mechanism effectively keeps germs and bacteria at bay. If you store your whipper correctly, cream leftovers will keep in the fridge for up to 10 days – without the need for added preservatives! Even if your iSi Whipper has been sitting in your fridge for several days, you should not shake it again before using it. Because once you’ve achieved the perfect consistency, it will stay that way – no extra action needed. Caution: Taking the head off the iSi bottle just once can seriously impact storability, as the gas will escape from the bottle, while oxygen finds its way inside.
